Mr. Zebedee Oglesby , 89, of Cowpens, passed away Friday, December 2nd, in Upstate Community Hospice House, Landrum, SC.

Husband of Darlene Oglesby, he was born in Cherokee County and was a son of George and Julia Wells Oglesby.

"Zeb", as he was affectionately called by all who knew him, was a member of Island Creek Baptist Church where he served as, a Trustee and Jr. Deacon. He was a retired Truck Driver for Standard Trucking Company. Zeb was also a Master Mason.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-son, Darren W. Crook, Sr.; sisters, Georgia Mae Crockett and Linda Lois Oglesby; a brother, William A.C. Oglesby.

He leaves to cherish loving memories, his wife, Darlene McIntyre Oglesby; two step-daughters, Rosalyn Splawn (Ronnie) and Jerri Lyles; a brother, Roy Oglesby (Brenda); five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 9 ^th , 12:00 p.m., in Island Creek Baptist Church, with The Reverend Dr. Timothy L. Hunter officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Public Viewing will be held Thursday…..
