Vincente Leon Foster, age 66, of 156 Oakbrook Lane, Gaffney, passed away on Sunday, December 11 ^th , in Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care.

Husband of Washcinda "Netta" Jackson Foster, he was born in Gaffney and was the son of the late Rufus H. Foster, Jr. and the late Mildred Thomas Foster.

Vincente was a member of Concord Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Gaffney High School, Mars Hill College, and Gupton Jones College of Mortuary Science. He was the co-owner, and Licensed Mortician of Foster Funeral Home in Gaffney.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Mar'kee Guest.  He leaves to cherish loving memories: his devoted wife, Washcinda "Netta" Foster, of the home; four daughters, Briana V. Foster, of Lexington, SC, Bianca L. Foster, of Columbia, SC, Kiana M. Foster, of Spartanburg, SC, and TG Foster; grandchildren, Breann Z. Whisenant, Markee Guest-Linder, Davaney M. McGill, Leo Jones, and Kailia H. Oswald; a sister, Cathy Foster, of Gaffney; mother-in-law, Gelina Camp, of Gaffney; an uncle, Dr. Littlejohn Foster (Sandy), of Charlotte, NC; aunts, Madelyn Daniels, of Chattanooga, TN, Gloria Inabinette, Thelma Foster, Geraldine Morris, and Eloise Leach, of Gaffney; sisters-in-law, Olishia Gaffney and Sandy Dillard (Adam); God-Son, Eric Scott; other relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 16 ^th , 1:00 p.m., in Concord Baptist Church with The Reverend Dr. Michael A. Bridges officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. He may be viewed at The Gilmore Mortuary on Thursday from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m., and at the church on Friday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. The family requests that no photos of Vincente be taken.
