Miss Veronique Camp Hughes, age 49, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021, in Cleveland. She was a daughter of Mrs. Lucy Jones Camp and the late Milas Rayford Camp. She is predeceased by her father and a sister, Marlo Camp. In addition to her mother she leaves to cherish loving memories: three sons, Edward Devonte Rayford Hughes and Devoen Hughes, both of Gaffney, SC, Donte Hughes of South Carolina; husband, Edward "Lil Man" Hughes; her grandmother; Mary Jones, of Kentucky; a sister; Inger Camp Johnson, of Shelby, NC; three nieces, Porchia Daniels, Lexus Johnson, and Delorean Johnson; five grandchildren, Jeremiah, Sha'miyah, Devonte, Devoen, Jr., and Milo Hughes; a host of other relatives and friends. The Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 3:00 p.m., in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel, with The Reverend Dr. Timothy L. Hunter officiating. The family is receiving friends at the home of, 2308 Mason Street, Shelby NC.
