Mrs. Vera Knuckles Williams, 79 , of 117 Gettys Drive, passed away Monday, February 8th, in Agape Hospice Home, Landrum, SC. She was born in Gaffney and was a daughter of the late Herbert and Regina Peeler Knuckles. Vera was a graduate of Granard High School and a retiree of Hoechst Celanese. She was a member of Dunton United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Eugene, Evon, and Joe Dean Knuckles, and a sister, Toledo Littlejohn. She leaves to cherish loving memories: twin daughters, Angela Tate (Boyd), and Tangela Poole (John), of Gaffney; a brother, Charles Knuckles (Cordelia), two sisters, Clynthree Oglesby and Lee Webster, of Gaffney; sister-in-law, Edith Knuckles; four grandchildren, Josh Tate, Jasmine Tate, Cameron Poole, and Chrissy Poole; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public Viewing will be held Tuesday from 3-6:30 p.m. and Wednesday from 10-12:00 noon.

A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, 1:00 p.m., in Frederick Memorial Gardens with Rev. Calvin Smith officiating.
