Tillie M. Jefferies was born in Osierfield, Georgia on July 24, 1957 to Ezekiel Black and Tilda Dixon Jones.

She was of the Baptist Faith.  Tillie was employed as a dietician in the health-care field. She was a gregarious lady who loved people. Her beautiful smile could light up the soul. She enjoyed looking at television, especially SyFy programs.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Willie Dixon. She leaves to cherish loving memories: a son, Flavius Jefferies; two daughters, Patricia Bankhead (Rev. Arkiva) and Sonya Jefferies; a sister, Annie Jones; a brother, Ira Jones; grandchildren, Markia Triplett, Shemaia Byrd, Kennedy Jefferies, Cedric Jefferies, Ohaji Byrd, Jessica Jefferies, and Arkiva Bankhead; 2 grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 10, 2019, 2:00 PM, in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel withThe Reverend Arkiva Bankhead officiating. Interment will be in Gaffney Memorial Park.
