Sheldon Shickarr Mack, Sr. 45, of 831 Holly Grove Road, Blacksburg, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021, in Spartanburg Medical Center. He was born in Cherokee County and was a son of the late Ophanel Mack, Jr. and the late Phyllis Thompson Mack. Sheldon was a 1995 graduate of Gaffney High School and an employee of IAC of Spartanburg. He was predeceased by: aunts, Annie Jordan and Wanda Hush; uncles, Samuel Davidson, Charlie Mack, and Donnie Mack. He leaves to cherish loving memories: a son, Sheldon Mack, Jr., of Gaffney; a sister, Cathy Hines, of Stamford, CT; brothers, Justin Mack, of Blacksburg, Ron Mack, of Mauldin, SC, and Anthony Hines, of Florida; aunts, Elaine Dawkins (Bobby), Deborah Mayberry, Cheryl Davidson, all of Gaffney, Patricia Hamilton, of Asheville, NC; special friends, Carolyn Austin Mack, Patrick Rainey, and Tim Smith, all of Gaffney; other relatives and friends.

Public Viewing will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, 1:00 p.m., in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Derrick Wood officiating. Interment will be in Gaffney Memorial Park.
