Shauna Alea Johnson, 26, of 630 Colonial Ave., entered eternal rest on Saturday, Sept.14, 2013, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Daughter of William Johnson Jr. and Claudia Clary Johnson, she was born in Spartanburg on Jan. 1, 1987. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, where she served as an usher, member of the Y.W.A.s and the Angelic Choir. Shauna was a graduate of Gaffney High School.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Barbara Johnson, Shirley Cross and Jacqueline Johnson; great-grandparents, T.C. Clary, Idella Clary, Jerry Johnson and Elwillie Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Diamynd Buckson of the home; a brother, Jorbuay Clary (Yvette) of Gaithersburg, MD; a sister, Joy Johnson of Gaffney; grandparents, Pete Johnson of Spartanburg and J.L. Jefferies of Gaffney; four god-children, Kameryn Corry and Dionna Edwards of Gaffney, Ezra Johnson and Kadien Johnson of Spartanburg.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 21, at 1 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Rev. Freddy Davidson officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. She will lie instate in the church Saturday from noon until the service hour.
