Sarah Helen Jones was born in Cherokee County, SC on May 25, 1933 to Sam and Mary Russell McGill.

The widow of J.B. Jones, Sarah was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.

She was called to eternity on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 in Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, SC.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister, Mabel O'Neal, and a brother, Isaac Russell. Left to cherish loving memories are: a daughter, Sharon H. Camp (George); 4 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017, at 1 p.m. in the Gilmore Mortuary Chapel. She will lie in state from 12 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery in Gaffney, SC.
