Ruby Marie Jefferies Linder, age 67, of 403 Caulder Ave., Spartanburg, passed away Monday, October 5, 2026, in Spartanburg Medical Ceneter.

Ruby was born in New Jersey to the late Joe and Doris Jefferies Epps. She was the wife of the late Wilbert Cornell Linder. 

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia Jefferies; two grandchildren, Deren McDowell, Jr. and Beyonce' McNeil; a great-granchild; O'marii Tate.

She leaves to cherish loving memories: a son, Frankie Epps (Brandy), of Gaffney, SC; three daughters, Latasha Thompson (Jontae), of Spartanburg, SC, Carmilla Jefferies and Aaliyah Linder, both of Gaffney, SC; a stepdaughter, Sheila Linder, of New York; two brothers; Joe Epps, Jr. (Charlie), of Boiling Springs, SC adn Travis Epps, of Gaffney, SC; a sister, Dottie Epps, of Gaffney, SC; 23 granchildren; 10 great-granchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend Kerwin Wray officiating.

The family is receiving friends at the home.
