Pierrè Sherard Hollis, 39 , of 217 Gaffney Avenue, Gaffney, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021, in Cleveland County, NC. He was born in Cherokee County, SC and was the son of James (JB) Byars and Sandi Coleman. Pierrè was a 2000 graduate of Gaffney High School. He was employed as a Forklift Operator at Nestle. He was predeceased by his great grandparents, Janice (Red) Coleman, Mr. and Mrs. Grady Hollis, Sr., Deacon Louis Lockhart and Virginia Jefferies. In addition to his parents he leaves to cherish loving memories: his children, Lil Pierrè Hollis, Laila Kelly, Simyria McGill, King Wray, Ma'Nyla Palmer, and Dwade Tate; two brothers, Derrick Smith and Michael Crate; a sister, Jameria Byers; grandfathers, James (Butterball) Hollis (Jacqueline) and Willard Smith; grandmother, Dorothy Byars; a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing will be Friday, June 11th, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., in the Gilmore Mortuary.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, June 12th, 11:00 a.m., in Fredrick Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dr. Timothy L. Hunter officiating.
