Phillip Elton "Eugene" Robbs, 87, of 100 Fairfield Rd., passed away Friday, June 1, 2018, in his home.

He was born in Gaffney and was a son of the late Azell and Roberta Morris Robbs.

He was a 1949 graduate of Granard High School, and a veteran of the United States Army.

Surviving are: a son, Steven Robbs (Cynthia) of Gaffney; 2 daughters, Brenda Watkins (Johnny) of Shelby, NC and Sheila Miller of Gaffney; two brothers, Zeotha Hameed Robbs of New Jersey and Charles Smith of Gaffney; three sisters, Dr. Carol Robbs- McFadden, LaVerne Smith, and Mozelle Dewberry, all of Gaffney; 7 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, 1 p.m., in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Michael Golden officiating. Interment will be Friday in M.J. Dolly Cooper Veteran's Cemetery, Anderson, SC.

The family is at the home of Eartha and Steven Anderson, 105 Pleasant Meadows Drive and request visiting hours between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
