Patricia Mae Burroughs, 79, of Gaffney, died Sunday, March 29, 2015, in Brookview HealthCare Center.

Widow of Leon P. Burroughs Sr., she was born in Washington, D.C., and was the daughter of the late Roland and Louise Taylor Richard.

She was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness 43 years ago in Washington. After relocating to South Carolina 24 years ago, she became an active member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Gaffney.

Surviving are a son, Leon Burroughs Jr. (Vonica) of New Carrollton, M.D.; three daughters, Mary Phifer of Greenville, Cynthia Morris and Arlene Danielle Sanders (James) of Gaffney; a sister, Shirley Willis of Washington, D.C.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Sunday, April 5, at 5 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Bobby Jefferies officiating.

The family is at the home of Arlene and James Sanders, 100 Redwood Circle.
