Nora Watkins Fernanders , 69, of Chesnee, SC, passed away Monday, November 8th, in her home. Wife of James Fernanders, she was born in Cherokee County and was a daughter of the late Arthur and Jessie Camp Watkins. Nora was a graduate of Limestone College, a member of Foster Grove Baptist Church in Chesnee, and a retired clerk with AT&T Telecommunications. She leaves to cherish loving memories: her husband, James, of the home; children, James Frenanders, Jr. of Charleston, SC, Arthur Lamar Fernanders, of Marietta, GA, and Rory Fernanders, of Chesnee; siblings, Ozee Woods, of Everette, WA, Ezee Watkins, of Hollis, NY, and Luella Quincy, of Covington WA; 5 grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Public Viewing will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, 2:00 p.m., in Foster Grove Baptist Church with The Reverend Horace Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Buck Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery. She will be in state in the church Friday at 1:00 p.m.
