Monica Latrice Burris, 38 , of 112 Martin Lane, Gaffney passed away Sunday, August 21 ^st , in Spartanburg Medical Center.

She was born in Gaffney and was a daughter of Maurice Dawkins and the late Sarah Ann Byers Littlejohn.

Monica was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She was a 2002 graduate of Gaffney High School and an employee of Freightliner.

She leaves to cherish loving memories: a son, D'Anthony Charles; a daughter, Saroyalty Burris; her father, Maurice Dawkins; sisters, Jameitras Jamison and Cierra Littlejohn; a brother, Maurice Burris, all of Gaffney; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service w ill be Monday, 2:00 p.m. in Ebenezer Baptist Church with The Reverend Freddie Davidson officiating. She will lie in state at 1:00 p.m. in the church. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family is receiving friends at the residence.
