Minister John Edwards Wilkins , age 87, of 210 Michigan Avenue, Gaffney, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025, in Peachtree Nursing Home.

Public Viewing will be held Friday, November 7, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., in the Gilmore Mortuary. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., in Philadelphia Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Danny Burnside. He will lie-in-state in the church an hour prior to service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family is receiving friends at the home of his daughter, Teresa Littlejohn (Terry), 130 Brookshire Drive, Gaffney.
