Lawrence "Ronnie" Collins, III , 76, of 140 Moda Road, Blacksburg, SC, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, in Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Husband of Olivia Young Collins, he was born in Spartanburg County, SC and was a son of the late Lawrence Collins, II and the late Naomi Thompson Collins. He was a graduate of Boggs Academy in Keysville, GA. Lawrence was a veteran of the United States Army, a truck driver, and a member of Youngs Grove Baptist Church. He leaves to cherish loving memories: his wife, Olivia, of the home; a son, Kelvin Young (Rupi), of Charlotte, NC; 4 grandchildren, Mya, Karsen, Rhyen, and Jakob Young, all of Charlotte; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, 3:00 p.m. in Youngs Grove Baptist Church with The Rev. Dr. Larry Brooks, officiating. Military Rites and Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
