Kenndy Durvial Thomas , 57, of 210 Webster Street, Gaffney, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021, in his home. He was born in Washington, D.C., and was a son of Lillie Ruth Thomas and Johnny Logan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy; a member of New Hope A.M.E. Zion Church in Union, SC, where he was a musician and choir member; and a former employee of Freightliner. Surviving are: a daughter, Ashley Thomas, of Gaffney; sons, Marcus A. Tate, of Spartanburg, SC, Damarreun Bridges, of Tacoma, WA, and Dylan Meurer, of Simpsonville, SC; brothers, Leon Thomas, of Union, and Jesse Logan, of Spartanburg; eight grandchildren; other relatives and friends. A Graveside Service will be Friday, May 14th, 1:00 p.m., in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery with The Rev. Dr. Michael Bridges officiating. The family is at the home of his daughter, Ashley Thomas, at 813 Concord Road, Gaffney.
