Kay Frances Conley , age 76, of 421 S. Johnson Street, Gaffney, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021, in her home. Widow of Governor Conley, Kay was born in Washington, D.C. and was a daughter of the late Prelow and Juanita Means Young. She was a retiree from Health Care- Nursing Home as a Housekeeper. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son, Toney Young. She leaves to cherish loving memories: her daughter, Antonette Young of the home; two brothers, Willie Young, of Orangeburg, SC and Horace Young (Hazel), of Alabama; two sisters, Norma Beam (Gene), of Marion, NC and Geraldine Young , of Gaffney, SC; 3 grandchildren, Toney, Jr., Torean Young, and Marquez Young; 10 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 12:00 noon, in The Gilmore Mortuary, with The Reverend Louis Davis officiating.
