Mrs. June Adams Johnson, 73, of 113 Dawkins Street, Cowpens, passed away on March 2, 2017 in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was the widow of John Johnson and mother of Paige Adams of the home and Troy Adams of Atlanta, Georgia.

Widow of John Carl Johnson, she was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and was a daughter of the late Benny and Callie Adams.

She was a member of Brownsville Community Baptist Church in Brooklyn and a retired telephone operator. Funeral Service will be Friday, March 10, 2017 at 2 p.m., in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with Minister Paige Adams and Rev. Timothy L. Hunter.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m., in The Gilmore Mortuary.
