Johnnie Levern Byers Woodson, age 59, of 201 1st street, Gaffney, passed away Monday, May 11, 2026, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY to Johnny and Mary Studyvance Byers.

She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny F. Byers; her sisters, Mary Studyvance and Willie Mae Good.

Johnnie leaves to cherish loving memories: her husband, Robert “Reggie” Woodson; her mother, Mary F. Byers; her two daughters, Joanie M. Huskey and Ebony R. Woodson; her sisters, F. Ann Byers and Lillie Hughes (Russell); her brothers, Dr. James Byers (Ruby), Melvin Harrison, Warren Byers, and Alvin Harrison (Rochelle); her grandchildren, Jatavious Huskey, Myrakal Berrios, Royal C. Woodson, and Ametheious Mayhew, Jr.; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel.

The family is receiving friends at 125 Hampshire Drive, Gaffney, SC.
