Jason Edward Brewton, 34, of 700 Dr. Martin Luther King Street, passed on Sunday, October 30.

He was born in Gaffney and was a son of Patricia Hames Bradley of the home and the late Charles Brewton.

Jason was a graduate of Blacksburg High School, a member of Mt. Ararat First Pentecostal Church of America, Inc., and a former employee of Watts Fencing Company and Kohler Corporation.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Arianna, of Chicago, Ill.; three brothers, Dennis Fowler, Jr. of Greenville, Roshaun Hames (Amanda) of Jacksonville, N.C., and Capri Amos of Greenville; three sisters, Alease, Shawna, and Andria Brewton, all of Chicago; maternal grandfather, Charles "Sonny" Hames of Blacksburg and Elder Robert Brewton, Sr. of Gaffney; fiance, Isis Foster, of Gaffney.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, 2 p.m., in Mt. Ararat First Pentecostal Church with Elder R. Dowdle officiating. Interment will follow in Galilee Baptist Church Cemetery in Blacksburg.

He will be in state in the church Saturday at 1 p.m.
