James "Four Corners" Robinson, 72, of 113 Taylor's Lane, Gaffney, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021. He was born in Cherokee County, SC and was a son of the late L.D. Dawkins, Sr. (Marie) and the late Pauline Weeks Robinson (Richard). James served in the United States Marines and received an Honorable Discharge in 1974. He was a member of New Mount Zion Baptist Church. He was predeceased by: his parents; siblings, Mary Jane Lipscomb, Shirley Ann Weeks, Julia Rogers, and Linda Holmes. He leaves to cherish loving memories: his children, LaShawn Abrams, Randy Montgomery, Tyrone Robinson, Rose Robinson Lawrence, Roslyn Robinson, Tabula Tate, Shondre Robinson, Bradshaw, Littlejohn, and Lacie Littlejohn; siblings, Minnie Ellis, Carolyn Falls, Louise Bryant, Jessie Mae (W.C.) Manning, Etta Jones, Rev. Mary Jefferies, Pamela Black, Shelia Dawkins; a brother, L.D. Dawkins, Jr. (Bernice); 32 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. A Service will be Monday, November 22, 2021, 2:00 p.m., in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel.
