Jackie Ray Tate , age 62, of 123 Tate Street, Gaffney, SC, passed away Sunday, December 22nd, in Spartanburg Medical Center. The family is at the home of his mother, Ms. Sarah Tate, 700 W. Smith Street. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 4th, 1:00 p.m., in Limestone Missionary Baptist Church with The Rev. Michael Golden. Interment will follow in Mount Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends daily from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The family request that visitors not bring food.
