Howard Lee Camp, age 64 , of 63 Blackstock Road, Inman, SC, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024, in Spartanburg Hospice Home.

He was born in Cherokee County and was a son of the late Deacon J.B. Camp and the late Helen Morris Camp.

Howard, affectionately known as "Cosell," was a graduate of Gaffney High School, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a member of Mikes Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, John Lank Camp, Joe Dean Camp, Jay Bernard Camp, Dennis W. Camp, and Brenda Camp Foster; a nephew, Shondra Camp; a niece, Jonica Camp; brother in-law, Gary Armstrong, Sr.

He leaves to cherish loving memories: brothers, Roger Gene Camp and Avery Camp (Rosalyn), both of Gaffney; three sisters, Lois Camp Oglesby, of Charlotte, NC, Deborah Louise Blanton and Rebecca C. Armstrong, both of Gaffney; an aunt, Geraldine Morris, of Gaffney.

A Funeral Service with Military Rites will be held Saturday, 2:00 p.m., in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with The Reverend Courtney Mills and The Reverend Kerwin Wray. Interment will follow in the family Cemetery.

The family is receiving friends at the home of his sister, Deborah, at 566 Boiling Springs Hwy, Gaffney From the hours of 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
