Mrs. Ethel Littlejohn Boyd, 68, of 2 Griffith Road, Greenville, SC, passed away Thursday, January 13 ^th , in Patewood Medical Facility, Greenville.

Wife of James Thomas Boyd, she was born in Cherokee County and was a daughter of the late Edward "Slim" Littlejohn and the late Maggie Whittenburg Littlejohn.

She was a member of White Plains Baptist Church in Greenville and a former member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Gaffney.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sons, Aldous Boyd and James Boyd; and a brother, Edward "Charlie Boy" Littlejohn.  She leaves to cherish loving memories: her husband, James, of the home; sons, Sheridan Terrell Littlejohn, Yusuf Littlejohn, and Thomas Boyd, all of Greenville; James Boyd, Jr., of Chester, SC; daughters, Harriet Arnold, Sheba Igho (Patrick) of Greenville, Benetta Boyd-Byrd (Gerald), of Simpsonville, SC, Sheila Minter, Cynthia Strong, and Sylvia Young, all of Chester, SC; a sister, Traci Littlejohn Watkins (Chris), of Gaffney; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be Friday, 2:00 p.m., in White Plains Baptist Church in Greenville with The Rev. Ernest Burgess officiating.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery in Greenville.
