Erma Chambers Lockhart , 83, of 1101 N. Morgan Street, Shelby, NC, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022, in Peak Resources, Shelby, NC.

Widow of Bishop Eddie Lockhart, she was born in Anson, NC and was a daughter of the late Herman and Mary Bennett Chambers.

Erma was a faithful member of The Divine True Holiness Church of God in Blacksburg, SC where she was "First Lady" for many years.  She was a retired Teacher's Aide at Grover Elementary School, Grover NC.

She leaves to cherish loving memories: four sons, William Lamont Lockhart (Venessa), of Kings Mountain, NC, Norris Wike A(Patrice), of Suffolk, VA, Orlando Williams, of Morganton, NC, and Ricky Chambers, (Mary), of Kannapolis, NC; God Daughters, Karen Houze (Rev. Billy) and Evelyn Pressley, both of Kings Mountain; brothers, Hubert Chambers, of Charlotte, NC and Richard Chambers (Teresa), of Kannapolis, NC; a sister Huby Chatman, of Kannapolis; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 23 ^rd , 2:00 p.m., in The Divine True Holiness Church of God  with Bishop Willie Littlejohn, Eulogist,  and Overseer Theodore Lockhart, Officiant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She will lie in the church at 1:00 p.m.   A Face Mask is required to be worn in Church.

The family is at the home of  Lamont and Venessa Lockhart, 121 Trotter Lane, Kings Mountain.
