Jay Walter Tate , age 85, of 105 Ashley St., of Gaffney, passed away Thursday, May 23rd, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Funeral Service will be held Sunday, May 26, 1:00 p.m. in Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with the Rev. Darrell Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the home of his sons', Harold Tate, 411 W. Carlisle Street, of Gaffney.
