Deacon Willie Littlejohn , 81, of 238 North Green River Rd., Gaffney, passed away Saturday, May 4 ^th , in his home.

He was born in Cherokee County and was a son of the late Rochelle and Minnie Watkins Littlejohn.

Willie was a member of Suck Creek Baptist where he served as Chairman of the Deacon Board and member of the Brotherhood.  He was a graduate of Foster Grove High School, Mayo, SC.

He was a Veteran in The United States Army. He was a volunteer fireman with the Cherokee Creek Fire Department Willie was a 33 ^rd Degree Mason with Victor Lodge #141, Chesnee.  He was a member of the Royal Arch, Order of the Eastern Star and the Shriners.

Willie was preceded in death by siblings, Shirley Pugh, Brenda Duncan, Maggie Studyvance, Dicy Crosby and Donnie Littlejohn

Left to cherish loving memories are:  a daughter, Ursula Harris-Gauldin (Russell); grandchildren, Gordon Thomas (Charlena), and Destinee Thomas; great-grandchildren, Gordon, IV, Jaliyah, Glendon and Gavin Thomas, all of Jacksonville, Fl; other relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m., in Mt. Sinai Baptist Church with The Reverend Tony Makupson and Rev. C.A. Wallace.  Interment with Military Honors, will be 1:00 p.m.Thursday, May 16 ^th , in M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, Anderson, SC.
