Alice Mae Tate was born in Cherokee County, South Carolina on January 19, 1969. She was a daughter of the late Walter and Alice Tate Long. Wife of Paul Richmond Littlejohn, she was a 1987 graduate of Gaffney High School and a former employee of Brookview Nursing Home. Alice was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church, Cowpens, SC, where she served as an usher and member of the choir. She leaves to cherish loving memories: her husband, Paul, of the home; a daughter, Lisa Tate, of Gaffney; aunts, Janie Davis and Marie Tate, both of Gaffney, Mary Dillard and Mary Long, both of Spartanburg, SC; two uncles, Dean Tate and Bill Tate, both of Gaffney; a great-aunt, Essie Bell Richardson, of Gaffney; other relatives and friends. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 18th, 2:00 p.m., in Piney Grove Baptist Church, Cowpens, with the Reverend Derrick Wood and the Rev. Dr. Derrick Wood. Interment will fol-low in the church cemetery.
